Japanese Technical Support Manager
(Kuala Lumpur)
Responsibilities:
- Japanese Technical Support Manager is responsible for the delivery of high quality support to internal and external stakeholders.
- Japanese Technical Support Manager makes sure that there are enough resources available to provide the adequate level of Support.
- Responsible of building a team, which has competent and motivated people and is quick to respond staffing changes (recruiting), as support has relatively high turnover rate of employees.
- Responsible of being an interface between sales and support and providing all possible support (reporting, technical customer visits etc) to ensure customer success.
- Responsible of planning, developing and running projects based on the needs of the regional market. This is done in co-operation with stakeholders in question.
- Implements the strategy of the company on support level and develops the support processes in co-operation with other support managers.
- Escalation point for issues related to support quality.
- Japanese Technical Support Manager represents the support department towards internal and external stakeholders and proactively communicates with the various involved stakeholders.
- Furthermore, he/she will coach the support team members.
Requirements:- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or Professional Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
- At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Native level Japanese language skills
- Advanced skills on call center management in Japan.
- Advanced understanding of Technical Support area.
- Very good general IT knowledge
- Understanding of IT market
- Excellent leadership skills
- Excellent reporting skills
- Good Analysing skills
- Ability to deliver high quality results and to meet customer expectations.
